2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies solely to the Omni Universal AC Remote mobile application (Package Name: ac.remote) distributed via Google Play Store and official channels.

A. Personal Information

None. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, user accounts, or profile data. No login or registration is required to use any feature of the app.

B. Device Information

None. We do not collect device identifiers, IMEI, advertising IDs, MAC addresses, or IP addresses.

C. Usage & Analytics Data

Crash Analytics & Diagnostics Only: We do not track user behavior, remote button presses, or session activity. To monitor app stability and fix technical bugs, anonymous crash reports and stack traces may be collected via Google Play Console and Crash Analytics services. These diagnostic logs contain technical details (such as device model, OS version, and crash stack trace) and contain zero personal identifiers.

D. Location Data

None. The app does not request, access, or track GPS or network location data.

E. Hardware & Sensor Data

The app only requests access to the phone's built-in Infrared (IR) emitter hardware to transmit remote control signals to your air conditioner.

4. How We Use Your Information

Because no personal information is collected, we do not use, profile, or monetize any user data. All configuration settings (such as saved AC brand, temperature unit preference, and dark mode) are stored strictly locally on your device using Android's private SharedPreferences sandbox.

The app contains zero third-party advertising or marketing SDKs. It integrates only official Google Play services for maintenance and stability:

• Google Play In-App Update API (play:app-update): Enables checking for app updates directly through Google Play.
• Google Play Crash Analytics & Android Vitals: Collects anonymous crash stack traces and diagnostic logs to help developers investigate crashes and improve performance.

Any interactions with Google Play services are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

7. Data Storage & Retention

All application state preferences are stored locally in private application storage on your device. We do not operate external cloud servers or databases. All local preferences are deleted immediately when you clear app data or uninstall the app from Android Settings.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Omni Universal AC Remote does not collect personal information from children or any other users, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Families Policy.

9. Legal Compliance (GDPR & CCPA)

Because our application operates entirely on-device without collecting, storing, or transmitting personal data, we do not share, sell, or transfer any personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
